Playing with my dog Abby. She waits patiently until I get home from work and is so excited to see me when I walk in the front door!

Entrée’s - they are the best part of any menu!

My favourite song of all time is...

It’s so hard to pick one, I love music! If I had to, it would have to be ‘You’re the one that I want’ from the Grease soundtrack, which is also one of my favourite movies. 

If I wasn't involved in Support Coordination I would be...

I am not sure what the job is called, or if it exists, but if there was a job where all you did was play with baby animals all day, I would love that job!

Being a helping hand in achieving any desired goals of our clients and being a guide to supporting them in being involved in their communities. 

I love working at I Am In because...

I enjoy being apart of a team that is grounded, ethical and hardworking. The passion of the team I work with is outstanding. 

My favourite thing to do when I am not at work is...

Spending time with my family going camping and doing lots of beach or bush walks and eating good food! 

My favourite food is...

Bao buns and all things urban Vietnamese and Japanese. 

My favourite song of all time is...

This is a hard choice, I would have to say anything Ziggy Alberts, although my Spotify 2021 wrapped tells me my most listened to song is fruit salad by The Wiggles.

If I wasn't a Support Coordinator I would be...

In a design role helping to create acyclic and timber event signage or gifts.

Supporting individuals and their families to build their support team across every aspect of their community. Seeing people build their capacity and independence, achieving their goals and flourishing.

I love working at I Am In because...

I am a part of an incredibly supportive team of likeminded, passionate, committed people who pride ourselves in providing independent and ethical support coordination and who always uphold and support the human rights of access and inclusion for people living with disability, their carers and support network. 

My favourite thing to do when I am not at work is...

Is simply spending time with my family. Playing board games, walks on the beach, bush walks or whatever we’re in the mood for.

My favourite food is...

Fresh seafood! Sashimi, oysters, perfectly cooked Atlantic salmon, freshly caught whiting/garfish, the list goes on.

My favourite song of all time is...

I simply can’t choose as my taste changes all the time depending on what mood I’m in. I’ve gone through some different fazes in my life from buying my first ABBA Arrival album at the age of 12, going to IL Divo concerts, etc. I love watching live orchestra as I get lost in the moment.

If I wasn't a Support Coordinator I would be...

In an advocacy role of some description as I’m very passionate about upholding and respecting the rights of individuals from all walks of life.

Fighting for the rights of the person, making sure they get all they are entitled to from their plan

  You are made to feel part of the team as soon as you arrive. No question is a wrong question

My favourite thing to do when I am not at work is...

  Making cards, reading , going to live shows and watching series on TV, barracking for the mighty Sydney Swans and playing with my fur-grandson Frankie

  Chinese, Indian

A stay at home Grandma

  Support Coordination is the magic mix of ongoing variety day to day but achieving goals in the long term. It’s both challenging and rewarding! It’s the perfect role for me as I thrive on working with people and applying my knowledge to solve problems.

 The I AM IN team are extremely supportive, innovative and have the same strong person-centred values as I do. 

My favourite thing to do when I am not at work is...

  Relaxing with family and friends at the beach, walking my black Labrador and going to concerts and festivals.

My favourite food is...

 My last meal on earth would be scones with jam and cream!

If I wasn't a Support Coordinator I would be...

  A travel writer visiting the most far-flung communities on earth.

 Supporting people to live their BEST lives. I am only one cog in the wheel as there is so many moving parts to any person wanting to achieve their Goals.

I am passionate about this position and only want to be the best at supporting people. 

I love working at I Am In because...

 I want to continue to work with trusted people who have the same ethics and are hard working. It is a privilege to work with people who are passionate and respectful. 

My favourite thing to do when I am not at work is...

 Spend time with my beautiful family, especially my gorgeous Grandbaby.  

My favourite food is... 

 ANYTHING that tastes good. I love all cuisines and I’m really not fussy at all!  

My favourite song of all time is...

 I love all genres of music, I am an 80s girl so still love this old time music 

If I wasn't a Support Coordinator I would be...

 Anything that supports people. I have enjoyed this role and being in the Health/ Community sector is really important to me.

The collaborative nature of Support coordination means that you are never alone in your daily work, and hearing peoples stories is always inspirational.

The team is full of beautiful encouraging and supportive people, and they have a strong person-centred approach.

My favourite thing to do when I am not at work is...

My Favorite meal is a Sunday roast. 

My favourite song of all time is...

It’s hard to pick one song, but recently I’ve really been loving all the new country songs coming out.

If I wasn't a Support Coordinator I would be...

I would be working withing the health care sector in some capacity.
